There’s an infinite number of reasons why you would want to capture what’s on your screen as a picture and save it for later reference or send it to a friend or colleague. A screenshot has many purposes and it’s super easy to do.
How to screenshot on your Mac:
This shortcut tool is super easy to use. All you have to do is press Command, Shift, and 4 at the same time. You can then drag the cursor over where you want to screengrab and create the screenshot that you need. You can capture your entire screen or just a small portion of it depending on what you need.
How to screenshot on your iPhone
For iPhones with a home button, simultaneously click the home and power button at the same time. This will capture your screen. You can then crop the image to cut out part of the screenshot or just simply save as an image. You can then save it for later or send it to a friend!
How to screenshot on your Windows PC
If you scan your keyboard, you’ll see a key that says “PrtScn”. Press Shift and the PrtScrn keys at the same time. It may look like nothing has happened but your screen was saved to your clipboard which you can then paste to wherever you want as if it’s an image that you’ve copied. A little shortcut to pasting the image is pressing the “Ctrl” button with the “v” button at the same time.

Androids have made taking screenshots super easy just like iPhones, but the sequence is just slightly different. To grab a screenshot on your Android phone, press the power button and the down volume button at the same time.
